About me

I practice in a way that involves finding out what is happening in the internal landscape. I believe that by exploring the past, you can find the deeper meaning behind your feelings and actions. I hope to provide a safe space for you to discover your inner thoughts and discuss anything that might be troubling you. The therapeutic relationship is at the centre of the therapeutic process and it should be based on trust. Counselling is a journey that can lead to self-knowledge and awareness. Through experiencing a facilitating environment, a place of authenticity and acceptance will be enabled.

Whilst therapy can be a challenging progress, I will ensure to follow your own individual pace. By processing troubles from the past, I believe that long kept emotions can be released and that you have the capacity to feel fulfilled within yourself. Through this empathic exploration, I can assist you to gradually develop, accept and manage what makes you unhappy, whether this may be a belief, a defence, a fear.

Through my work in charities and in the NHS, I have experience with a range of issues. I put big emphasis on the Equality Act of 2010, and value difference in the room as well as the importance of catering to minority groups. As a therapist, Iā€™m fully LGBTQ+ and polyamory affirmative.

I am a psychodynamic therapist and a member of BPS and BACP. My journey into psychotherapy started with my Psychology BSc Hons at Birkbeck. I continued by completing an MA in Counselling at Goldsmiths University. I am currently attending weekly clinical psychoanalytic seminars at the Institute of Psychoanalysis as well as weekly psychoanalytic supervision.

I can provide sessions in English and Greek.
